Would have been great to be able to say I was away in some exotic location the past month, but sad to say – not the case. Instead I’ve been stuck in hospital, after finally being admitted for tests to try and locate the nature of my ongoing bone pain with hopeful treatment, but sadly that wasn’t to be. For whatever reason despite numerous tests including an isotope bone scan (which had shown up my original bone pain problems), and MRI nothing of any value showed up to enable any accurate treatment to be given. So, I’ve had to submit more fully to the Lord’s Will in this area, as it’s proving very tough to find any type of possible reason for this outcome that might be of any value. However, I trust Him explicitly and know that He has His Hand firmly on my life, so whatever His Will is, whether I understand it or not, is PERFECT!! Enough said. In the time I’ve been out of circulation, Israel has completed yet another war of defence of its existence although unlike all previous ones, this had no obvious conclusion i.e. Hezbollah are still very much in existence in Lebanon, and happily claiming ‘victory’ over Israel, while Israel is still having to deal with the heavy toll the war placed on it – not least the possibility of losing yet another Prime Minister as a result. But the Lord has His Hand very much on His people, who suffered minimal losses in this battle yet ironically the world views that as something terrible. Many of us who’ve read the prophecies in Ezekiel and Isaiah, were waiting to hear that Syria was about to join in to the fray, given the pertinent prophecies about its demise at some future point.

Islam meanwhile is still very much on the march, and continuing to increase here in the UK with constant complaints of harrassment and threats of violence if we don’t capitulate to their ever-increasing demands. There was even a Muslim woman in Belfast providing a whole information session on what Islam is all about so that we might look favourably on them when they start to try and push it through the offices and schools here too. Sadly those who consider Islam to be peaceful are about as knowledgeable, as those who consider Christianity a threat, and they would be much better placed to read scriptures and discover for themselves the truth about the bloodthirsty god Muslims serve who insists that the best life is to kill themselves and their children preferably taking as many others out with you when you do it. And children make the best suicide bombers because the ‘enemy’ aren’t as likely to stop them before they reach their target. A god who says death is preferable to life isn’t one I particularly want ruling my life. The Judeo-Christian God on the other hand is the One who gave His Son so that the world might have forgiveness of its sins and LIVE eternally, and Who promotes LOVE above all other things in this world. If you think the two religions (Christianity/Islam) are remotely similar just think of Jesus and what He stated – did He ever once recommend you kill your enemies or your children for ANY cause? And Paul even specifically stated ”
Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Gal 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. “

And who was it was supposed to have revealed this ‘new’ gospel to Mohammed – only Gabriel, yet here Paul has already laid down the possibility of that happening, and specifically laying curses on the prospect – interesting!

At any rate, we are to LOVE our enemies even those who seek to kill and destroy us – and so we need to ground ourselves firmly in the TRUTH of His WORD which alone has the power to change people, and pray that He will intervene in the lives of many Muslims and others to reveal that Truth to them so that they too may have their lives changed completely and follow the One True Living God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob. Alleluiah, Come Lord Jesus.
